If you use CPYFRMIMPF using comma-delimited fields, you may encounter situations where the original fields have shifted to the right or to the left. The commands RIGHTJ and LEFTJ have been written precisely for these situations where you quickly need to restore the data to their original state.

The RIGHTJ and LEFTJ commands work the same way. They use three parameters:

The library/file name to modify
The from and to column range within your file that needs justification (left or right)

The command copies your file into a workfile, does the character justification work and
brings the data back into the original file. You must have replacement rights to the file
you are modifying.
